Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd has played down reports linking him with the managerial vacancy at Premiership outfit Charlton.
Boothroyd has surprised many by leading the Hornets - one of the favourites for relegation last summer - to third place in the Championship.
His success has seen him linked with a number of jobs elsewhere, the latest being at Charlton, who will be looking for a replacement for Alan Curbishley following his decision to quit at the end of the season.
Boothroyd admitted: "It is the first I have heard about it, and it is very flattering. It is a credit to the players and staff, as well as the chairman and board who support me.
"But it's nothing to get excited about. I'm focused on the play-offs, and this will not turn my head."
Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle has also been linked with The Valley hot-seat.
I understand why he is being linked with a club like Charlton, but he has a job at Watford and is commited to the cause, I don't think he'd balls it up by leaving after a year, and after such a good season. Boothy is staying put. LOL @ Hoddle aswell
