No it's not. The staff team are just trying to do our best to keep this place friendly and attractive to potential members. I don't know what thread that was but if it's content was deemed offensive or inappropriate then it is at the discretion of the present staff member whether to remove it. yeah i know its up to you lot, and it really is no skin off my nose cause at the end of the day if it bothered me that much i just wouldnt post here. it was the one a few months back that was about gays or something like that, and at the time they were all going mental cause it got pulled. im sure you remember the fallout cause thats when i had the little squabble with those 2 for telling them to chill out and get over it Some on here can follow that note, if they don't like the way this place is staffed, they don't have to post on here. Alternatively, they can just talk to staff about a problem they may have (As Ster just said) Ohhh right, yeh I remember that.

Fair point mate, and taken on board.. You also make a cracking point about over sensitivity. Don't you think that is exactly what the problem is here? I mean, fuck, do some of the people here complaining for so long about the same thing not just think it could be dealt with in a PM to one of us? If it is an issue that these guys want rectified then let us know and as we have shown in the past we will fix it. I can see the home lives now! 'Mum, my cup of morning tea is too hot, will you come and blow on it for me before you put my towel in the dryer?' ok the phrase "nanny state" probably isnt the best way of putting it, but to a certain extent its true, take that thread a while back that A2V and jh were sooooo keen on. there wasnt anything wrong with it but it got pulled just because it had some non PC posts in it alot of people are just far to sensetive over things if you ask me and instead of using their heads and just not reading or replying to the wind up they start having a little hissy yeah mate, its bloody pathetic if you ask me. i have to sodding walk on egg shells 1/2 the time because there are some people who take offence to my posts even when its not aimed at or is even involving them.

EXACTLY!!! And as one of the more active members on here with opinions I have never heard you bleat... Will you teach the rest of them please? im not overly fussed im still going to say what i want and if it does get pulled who cares. but seeing as the point has been raised i may as well have my say on the matter. i would love to but im affraid it might get misconstude as a personal attack on them and i would only get in trouble about it

I suppose it's like my mum being offended at your signature, meanwhile I said to her that it's his choice, they have to deal with my signature, so don't make a fuss about it! Nothing to do with this matter, just thought I'd say that.

still rather sorry for you getting in trouble over my sig han Don't worry about it, I always click off whenever she's about as she's nosy. She asked who had the MGP (Pedersen) picture but as she put it; "lad in black shirt" (when I had it) I said I didn't know

Taking the attitude- 'that if people don't like it, they can fuck off' (to put it bluntly) is counter productive, as people do 'fuck off', then we're left with less people posting which at the end of the day is bad for the board and its posters as it's less entertaining.
It's not too much to ask to avoid posting blatant wind-ups, is it really? And if people do that we'll get a lot less archived threads, and more active users, making the whole 'board experience' a better one for all.
I don't have a problem when it comes to posters having a controversial opinion, and I think it would be wrong to censor them, as everyone can think what they want etc...
