Derbyshire FFS!! I might be able to swap with Chopper though ;D You two were the last two to be drawn out. I had to raise a smile when you were drawn each others counties! well I guess the only good thing is I didn't get Yorkshire

Ok, I've just seen that because Ireland are in the Midlands region for the FP trophy, Worcestershire get shifted out of that one and are classed as South-West.

So, with Sussex drawing with the MCC thanks to the weather, the season really gets going tomorrow.

Okay, tricky situation here. Essex won the FP Trophy on here, but that team actually belonged to Tom/Frog Maniac, who's no longer around! SO embarassingly, one of the competitions I'm doing this sweepstake for has no winner.

An update please, i don't watch county cricket, its like watching paint dry. ;D Pfft! Get down to Warickshire (or whoever you wish to follow. I support Essex because Suffolk are difficult to follow. We play in random fields every couple of weeks.) man! I went to watch one day of a four day match between Essex vs Gloucestershire, got sunburnt on the only day the sun has shone this summer whilst wearing three quarters and being and idiot by forgetting my sun cream. I also got odd looks (I was wearing a red hoodie as a cape.) from Danish Kaneria and Jon Lewis. All in one day. Huzzah! ;d Anyway, an update for you. Winners so far: T20 Champions: Middlesex. FPT Champions: Essex. Current standings: LVCC Division 1 leaders: Currently, Notts. But it may well be Somerset soon. They're equal on points. Bottom: Surrey LVCC Division 2 leaders: Worcestershire. Bottom: NOT Glamorgan (KK faints), but another team beginning with 'G', Gloucestershire. Pro40 Division 1 leaders: Notts (on net run rate, Sussex have same about of points.) Bottom: Lancashire (on net run rate, Worcestershire + Middlesex have same amount of points) Pro40 Division 2 leaders: Essex. Bottom: Northants. To be honest, this was really pointless, as if you were arsed you could easily find all this on Cricinfo.

Cheers Han. I have been down Edgbaston for a few games. I guess my sweepstake team Lestohshire didn't do that well.

I went down to Chelmsford three times last month. The FPT semi-final has been, probably, the highlight of my summer. Just because I met Alastair Cook and Graham Napier. I picked up the dark horses of the shorter version of the game in Middlesex. Got quite a good team, but I was still cheering on Essex Twenty20 finals day.

I've not actually done any Warwickshire updates in a while. Then again, it's easy enough.........all matches rained off
