If you get Yorkshire Billy, do you want to swap? ;d hell yes - I think the only county I would like less is Kent

I would like Essex, since I semi-support them, as Suffolk aren't a major butt-kicking county yet. But I'm not fussed.

Well I'd take Warks as preference, but anyone will do so long as it's not Yorks or Kent

What's so wrong with Yorkshire? Your beloved Leeds are from God's own county!

I've been saying for AGES that our bowling simply osn't up to strength and that was shown up last year - I'm gutted that we haven;t got a recognised pace bowler as our overseas player, but Donald rated that South Sfrican guy we have as one of the best so we'll wait and see. Ambrose doing well for England won't help though, and I'd like to see one or two more batsmen added to the squad. I sure hope we'll be good enough to get out of County Champ League 2 but not so sur about the one day league

I sure hope we'll be good enough to get out of County Champ League 2 but not so sur about the one day league Our bowling ain't been up to strength for a few years. Even when we won the league back in 2004, we won 5 out of 16 games and drew the other 11. It was all down to our batting and Giles was the only bowler capable of taking wickets. Last season was a disaster waiting to happen once the batting collapsed as well. It'll be interesting to see how Zondeki does, but yeah, we've gotta strengthen in all areas, particularly with constantly being without Bell and now with Ambrose in the England set-up. Hopefully the players will find themselves above Div 2 standard, but I ain't holding my breath. Am tempted to go to a match in the summer as well, just not sure which one yet.

I hope Donald recognises that the bowling needs help - I dunno what our youth is like atm but I guess we'll find out sooon enough. I'd like to get across to Edgbaston some point this summer as well

Well, if we can get a bowler capable of taking 5 wickets an innings, then that's already an improvement. But Donald should hopefully be the man to teach the pace bowlers something. Plus Giles might be able to give spinners some tips. Is a shame we've lost Louden though. If I go to a match, then it would have to be a Pro40 I imagine. I may run the risk of being slated, but I'm not a fan of Twenty20. It might be the most exciting to watch, but I don't see the skill other than hitting the ball as hard as you can. 20th July against Kent and 7th Sept vs Essex are two possibilities.

Yeah I can't believe Loudon - a real talent last season. Still, I'm sure evryone involved will want out of Div 2 as quickly as possible, which should spur us on

Yup, the motivation should be there trying to bounce back from relegation. If that's not enough, then the players may as well pack their bags.

*Goes off to look at squad* Bloody hell! I knew we'd had a bit of a young squad, but didn't realise we'd got THAT many youngsters! At least it's Division 2 where they can be blooded.

I guess that's true - some of them will step up and hopefully push on. Thing is if they start badly confidence might drop.

Well, we've still got the likes of Maddy, Salisbury, Powell, Carter and Frost as old heads there, who can hopefully keep the ship steady if confidence does start dropping. Plus Giles and Donald.
