The Pakistan Cricket Board expects the one-day series against England to go ahead despite the controversial end to the final Test at The Oval. The umpires awarded the game to England by forfeit after Pakistan failed to come out promptly after tea in protest at being penalised for ball tampering.
But PCB Director of Cricket Operations Saleem Altaf said: "The one-day series has nothing to do with the Test.
"As far as I know there are no plans for the team to return home early."
England and Pakistan are due to play a Twenty20 match at Bristol on 28 August, to be followed by five one-day internationals.
But the future of the series may depend on what action, if any, the International Cricket Council decides to take against Pakistan.
ICC chief executive Malcolm Speed confirmed that the umpires were meeting to consider "whether there should be any further charges in relation to the refusal by Pakistan to take the field that resulted in the forfeit of the match".

These one days might not go ahead if Inzi is punished further or Duncan Fletcher admits he was the one who started all this by visiting the match referee. I have tickets to the 5th ODI i don't want a refund, i want to see a ODI international.

like yer say, if the captain gets the book thrown at him then the rest may not wish to play.. It is after all a job now for these people, they get paid a lot of money to entertain, by striking, they should be thrown out and replaced, or expel pakistan from international cricket. they do say, that you can complain to much, maybe they did do something after all, but if they had reported it, and complained the right way, more people now would be on there side. they acted like spoilt brats, not to dissimilar to most sports people these days
