Yeah I thought it was something like that, I have seen it before. However the combination of goalposts/rugby posts made me wonder if I was getting Aussie Rules Footbal confused in there in my head. I dunno, these foreigners, thinking they can invent new sports willy-nilly......!

Isn't it that there are two different ways of scoring points? Or am I confused... tis possible! first score is a goal, as in football, worth 3 points! second score is points, which is when sliothar is hit over the goalpost and between uprights! so kilkenny score 1-18 = 21 laois score 1-13 = 16 ;D e.g. www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/championship/highlights.htmlclick on hurling I still don't get it...
