..........of posters who have been inactive for over 6 months. There are hundreds on here that have never posted. It gives a false impression that there are lots of posters when in reality there are only really about 50.

Indeed not Hurls, I'd have wasted time on here! ;D I know Jules, and the thing is you say you're one of the better performing employees. Sort of worrying, your quite lucky someone does not look at productivity there. Because if they did the workforce would be halved!

Because if they did the workforce would be halved! Mate, I'm just more than good enough for the role I'm in, and have no way to progress at present. Systemic failure maybe but I wouldn't say that my colleagues aren't hardworking or stretched by their jobs.
