Yup, thats right....i'm going to be seeing this girl next Wednesday, Valentines night....the problem is though that its not a date and of course we will not be alone. I'm going to see the Chicago musical at the Mayflower Theatre in which the cheeky scouser is starring in. Now admitedly, its not really something i'd usually do or go and see by choice but i had a chance to get tickets and thought why not knowing that a certain someone wanted to go and see it before it ended. I've not even seen the film version so don't exactly know the story BUT i shall be fair and give it a chance, for all i know, it might be good! I hadn't planned anything just yet for the special day so i've kinda been a bit lucky the way this has fallen into my hands but i guess you never look a gifthorse in the mouth! As long as she enjoys herself thats the main thing though. I'd be interested to find out if anyone has seen this already whether they enjoyed it. Maybe you've seen the film version and enjoyed that. I dunno but either way i'd be interested in your comments on the story although don't tell me too much so that it might ruin it for me. Cheers.

Its alright, Lee. Not the best musical ever, but a good night out nonetheless. You'll recognise a few of the songs I'm pretty sure. The pseudo- American accents might grate a bit after a while though. But if you're doing it for someone you care about, I'm sure knowing that she is enjoying herself will make the night even better.

Alrighty, cheers for the heads up Lolly. Like i say, tis not really my scene but i'm open to new things and its all about give and take so we shall see. Last time i went to the theatre was to see We Will Rock You which was bloody good i must admit.

I'm sure there's a play out there for anyone to enjoy - just like a film. I must admit, i'm into musicals. I've kind of grown up with them and was surrounded by them at school. But yeah, Chicago. I think you'll like the costumes..and I'm sure Jennifer Ellison will capture your attention!

I mean i don't mind watching them, i even did Drama at school and loved it but its not really often i go to the theatre to see a show or whatever. I definatly would have no hesitation going if it was something i was going to like. I think if i do enjoy it, it might make me go again if there's something worthwhile on down here. You ever hear of that Starlight Express? That looks alright as long as there is a story to it and not just rollerskating round and round with the odd song here and there Lol bit revealling are they maybe? Yeah, i just been reading reviews of people who saw it, they said she was good as were the rest of the cast so should be interesting!

To throw in my humble, I saw Chicago when 'Wonder Woman' was in it. It's ok, nothing to rave about, I preferred Mamma Mia though, loads of energy and an evening of Abba!
