I remember about ten years ago you and us competing for the then Division 3 title, with you guys just about coming on top. Who'd have thought, all this time on, we'd both go right up and (in all likelihood) back down again Hell, if we can break our play-off jinx we might even be able to make a second go of it next season - let's hope we can both go on with better owners next time out

Never thought I'd ever agree with a Wednesday supporter. But, ditto

Hey Chris The darkest days. 7 days for survival so that we can get relegated if we're lucky. Still going on Saturday though

Were you there? A reminder that we actually go to football to enjoy ourselves - most times we've been thinking we just go for the beer. Ah yes, the prayer. Failed to keep a respectful straight face, I'm afraid

It's amazing what adversity can do to a group of players...

It's amazing what adversity can do to a group of players... No obvious improvement in quality but the fighting spirit was a sight to see...

Honestly, I think that's an unfair thing to ask the staff... Yes, it may be necessary for the club, but two months without being paid? I'm sure they've got families, mortgages, bills etc to take care of, and they're basically being guilt-tripped into risking all of that There's not even any guarantee that they'll get what they're owed at the end of it either... Much as I realise the situation the club's in (god knows we've been there), that's just asking too much...

Owned by nobody currently. And I agree it is an outrageous thing to ask the employees. If a take over bid cannot afford to pay the wages of those it is taking over then it is no bid at all.
Latest seems like there are bids in and negotiations to be had with teh creditors on the former board - Sir Roy Gardner and Keith Todd - who are apparently holding out to get as much of their "investment" back as they can. These will be the people that OG, sorry, Gisele is referring to.
Just when you think it couldn't get darker, it clouds over some more.
