From BBC Sport:Hull City manager Phil Brown has been relieved of his duties at the KC Stadium and put on gardening leave........Okay what the heck is "Gardening Leave" .....is that where he grow's some herbs or tend's roses. Please Advise !!!

Gardening leave is, I assume, when you see out the duration of your contract by doing nothing at all. I dream of it. Mine is a permanent contract
