but IM BACK ! haha
wasnt avoiding this board coz we've had an awful start, literally lost the URL so pleased to find it
lets do my thoughts on the season / Keano's appointment etc...
Was very pleased when we got Keane to be honest. 27,000 crowd v Coventry final home game suggests the fans were also! 2 wins from 2,,, a summer to bring in his OWN players and a warchest promised,,,, things are on the up !?
Well we all know in football logic isn't always followed by what we think will happen !
Signings
The first thing that struck me was Keane trying to solve the problematical left side ! A manager with common sense, though I was NOT AT ALL happy with Delaney coming and thought Martin was overpriced like hell..
To me Forests LM Anderson who they got on a FREE is twice the player...
The only game I've been to so far is Coventry away, where we played rather well and lost.
Priskin making his debut,,,, all for Priskin but similar to Counago !? touch players,,, no presense ...
I really didn't expect what has followed to happen ! Its a mess to say the least isn't it !?
Norris / Civelli have been badly missed.... Why on earth Jordan Rhodes was sold is beyond us all.....
None of us wanted Murphy upfront, but I think it could be exactly what we're missing. A strong forward to make a nuisance of himself.
It makes u really appreciate JUST HOW GOOD Stefki Kuqi was for us. Exactly that, plus 12 goals guaranteed a season!!!!
Saw the Reading game on livestream internet ( due to it being shown on TV in Sweden, why I don't quite know !?!?! )
I must say we were appalling. Leadbitter is a massive step forwards, but the passing is just not good enough. I like Rosinier at full back also, glad to see Davey Wright back in the team too !
5 unbeaten though,,,, home wins against Sheff Weds + Peterborough look essential to get us out this mire A S A P and see what CAN be achieved this season
Glad we're sticking by Keane actually, we've had 15 managers in our clubs history. Head the other day, Atletico Madrid's new manager is their 15th in 5 years....
But we MUST improve. Evan's won't throw money forever, he's a businessman so the next 2 / 3 seasons are so very important. Don't want to be the next Norwich / Saints
