Quite reasonable first half I thought. Mariner was very animated and vocal, more so than the other guy has been all year and I think the players responded well. Second half Sturrock got involved and everything turned to ratshit. You cannot have two people giving instructions. Who are the players going to listen to? I had the feeling that Mariner got a bit aggrieved that Sturrock was interfering with his team. Up into the stand please Mr. Sturrock, as soon as possible.

David Norris, AC? He's had a knee injury since the first game of the season against Coventry. And you're not the only one who misses him.

In fairness to Sawyer, whilst his backpass was awful the movement around him was worse and played him into trouble. The whole lot fell asleep, presumably thinking that the aimless punt upfield was soon to arrive. He had nowhere to go and went backwards - just spectacularly badly. Dismal. As for Blake, I have to say that from where we were it didn't even look a foul, let alone a card. The website agrees - anybody have a better view? And agreed, Mariner was a breath of fresh air - just to have somebody who looked like they gave a monkey's was nice. Two very poor sides though - a classic...
