Can't be bothered to start a new thread here so my thoughts on the Leicester 0 Derby 0 match yesterday. Complete borefest to be honest....much attrition but not much entertainment from either side. Certainly not worth the 'platinum' prices they tried to charge for it. I think you probably had the marginally better chances to win it what with Savage's free kick late on and Hobbs gifting the ball to Commons to try and get a 1 on 1 (great recovery by Hobbs though). Having said that you didn't have a shot in the first half and I don't think the way you approached the match was necessarily conducive to a great game of football. But we were pretty shit too (after the first half hour anyway) and failed to make any real progress in breaking down a solid and resolute defence. Wrong team selection Mr Pearson; use your squad! A fair, if not particularly exciting result. Oh, and Savage is a twat, but whats new. |
