No controversial guests or lynch-mob format this week, more of a 'proper' show.
John Sergeant is quality.

I bet Abdul felt a right [c]unt after voting for the BNP only to find it didn't stand for Britain Needs Pakis. You have all the charm of being a BNP supporter Chopper. And you sound more like a Labour drone with each passing day. Do you think it right that the extremists shout abuse at our troops returning from Afghanistan? Labour would have us all saying what they want us to say and thinking what they want us to think. I do not like the BNP but i also do not like the foothold extremists have gained in this country under the softly softly Labour policies. We are at war and so many 'British citizens' are taken captive fighting for the Taliban. Whose side are they on? Perhaps the BNP really are saying what the masses want to say but are too frightened to for fear of upsetting the apple cart. Perhaps the masses think a softer stance than the BNP want but a tougher stance than Labour want is what we need. While i have no problem with people coming to add to our economy, i think too many come here for our generous benefits system. I remember reading a few years back about some bloke seeking asylum from Pakistan, claiming £30K a year in benefits while taking 21 days holiday in of all places Pakistan! This has to stop.

If you want a true demolition job, watch Have I Got News For You later or on iPlayer. They had Bob Crow (a Transport Union leader) on there and it was a combination of cheap shots from Jimmy Carr, jibes from Alexander Armstrong about transport punctuality and strikes and lifestyle comments from Ian Hislop whenever Crow tried to respond with his own comments. ;D

Seems like a good time to bring this thread back up...
The BNP certainly seem to have fallen out of fashion since this TV debate, though that's not to say the two are directly related. While I admit I don't follow the news as closely as I did previously, I do keep half an eye on it, and there's been very little mention of this bunch that I've seen. Anyone want to correct me on this?
At any rate, with the General Election approaching, I can only hope it stays that way. 'Out of sight, out of mind' seems to be the rule where voting's concerned; hopefully, the media will bear that in mind over the coming month.

There's no room for complacency. Even down in the South West where electoral politics tend to be dominated by blue rinse dyed in the wool Tories, pyschotic UKIP supporting twelve bore waving farmers or pockets of Lib Dems voted in by defeated Labour followers, apparently the BNP poses a credible threat. They need to be exposed for what they are wherever they arise.

Fair play to Alastair Campbell, he is such an unrepentant bugger. Quite admirable, in a way.
