Maximising Stadium Atmosphere
• Proximity to the pitch - Spectators in this stadium will find themselves closer to the pitch that at any other comparable stadium in the UK.
• Keeping fans together - We will seek to keep fans together in groups when we move to retain the camaraderie which has built up over the years.
• Excellent acoustics - We are working with professional sound engineers to ensure that noise is retained within the Stadium.
• No open corners - So the crowd noise is focussed back onto the pitch.

'Flowing Lines' Design
• The design concept aims to capture the essence of the Spurs identity.
• It uses flowing lines of external cladding, a gracefully undulating roof and the Club colours to create a visually stunning stadium.
• Aluminium shingle cladding to main body of building will give a high quality appearance, with navy blue glazed terracotta cladding to the stairs.
• The entrances at each corner will contain additional arched glazing, with external video screens and information bars to provide a visual emphasis at the natural approach points.
• The roof itself follows the line of the seating bowl and helps keep crowd noise inside the stadium to improve the match day atmosphere.
• At its highest point, the roof is 42m above the surrounding pavement.
"The atmosphere in the stadium and its impact on the players can never be underestimated. Having the fans right up close, on the edge of the action, can lift the team on the day when it matters most and make the stadium a fortress"
