Tottenham secure the signatures of Naughton and Walker
Tottenham have confirmed the signings of Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker from Sheffield United.
Everton were also in the running to sign Naughton but the defender has opted for the lure of White Hart Lane.
Skysports.com revealed last week that Spurs were likely to win the race to sign the England Under-21 international and that has proved to be the case.
Naughton broke into the Blades' side at the beginning of last season and never looked back, playing 40 league games in total.
Meanwhile, Walker forced himself into Kevin Blackwell's side towards the end of last term after a spell on loan at League One side Northampton.
It is believed that Spurs will loan the 19-year-old defender back to the Bramall Lane club while Naughton will be looking to push Vedran Corluka and Alan Hutton for a starting berth at right-back.

If they 'broke' and 'forced' their way into Blackwell's side, how did they get into WHL? With a crowbar?

How much?! I know Naughton had a good season but paying that sort of money on someone thats not really had time to prove themselves with a few consistant seasons is hell of a gamble.

Average players signed for way above their true value. Good business for Sheff Utd. Harry Redknapp is crap in the transfer market.
