24 players to feature in first run out for the Rams
Nigel Clough will field two separate teams for the first pre season outing against newly promoted Burton Albion.
There is a welcome return to action for Dean Leacock in the side that starts the game. He will play with Patrick Kisnorbo, with the Derby coaching staff set to 'run the rule' over the former Leicester star.
Giles Barnes also starts the first half, as do debutants Lee Croft and Dean Moxey, with Ben Pringle named as a sub. Jake Buxton will start the second half.

Half Time: Burton Albion 0-1 Derby County
Porter header gives Rams half time advantage
It was a warm but muggy afternoon at the Pirelli Stadium as the Rams kicked off their pre-season matches with the traditional game against newly promoted Burton Albion.
Last time the two sides locked horns Nigel Clough was Brewers boss and his team were intent on getting promoted to the Football League. Now the two sides found themselves just 2 divisions apart.
Giles Barnes showed quick feet with a good touch in the early exchanges, but first danger fell to Burton as the Derby defence failed to pick up Darren Stride from a free kick, but his final effort was wide of the mark.
Chris Porter was denied at the last by Shane Redmond in the Brewers goal.
With 5 minutes gone Giles Barnes was freed by Porter but blazed wide - the second chance that he had failed to make the most of in the opening stages.
Greg Pearson fed a great ball through to Robin Shroot in the 10th minute but Stephen Bywater was quickly off his line to staunch the danger.
As the game reached the quarter hour mark the game started to settle down, although John McGrath and Robbie Savage were keen to show how keenly friendlies could be contested.
GOAL: DERBY COUNTY
Derby took the lead in the 19th minute as Dean Moxeys' right wing corner was headed goal ward by Patrick Kisnorbo. It appeared to be going in but Porter made sure with a final headed touch.
McGrath almost squared things 2 minutes later but his shot was straight at Bywater who gathered it comfortably.
Mark Fotheringham the ex-Norwich player, undoubtedly keen to impress provided Moxey with a half chance but the youngster saw his shot saved by Redmond.
Derby caused themselves problems 10 minutes before the break as a Brnes foul on McGrath gave the Brewers a free kick opportunity from a central position 25 yards out but Shroots shot was caught by Bywater at a stretch.
A headed clearance by Redmond a couple of minutes later gave Lee Croft the chance of a debut goal but he got the angles wrong with his chipped attempt.
A 40th minute free kick rom Savage caused the Brewers defence all sorts of problems before the referee blew play dead for an infringement.
As the half drifted to its close Croft bamboozled ex-Derby defender Paul Boertien for once but Moxey was unable to get the right connection.
Fotheringham got a shot away in the dying seconds but the referee blew for half time before anyone could profit from any ricochet.

It was a warm but muggy afternoon at the Pirelli Stadium as the Rams kicked off their pre-season matches with the traditional game against newly promoted Burton Albion.
As promised Nigel Clough fielded a totally different eleven for the second 45 with the exception of trialists Patrick Kisnorbo and Mark Fotheringham.
The new look Rams earned an early corner after Liam Dickinson had a shot blocked. Kisnorbo once again showed his usefulness at set plays with a powerful header that bounced away off the crossbar.
Steve Davies, who scored a cracking debut goal in this fixture last season was unkucky to see his shot sail narrowly wide after a dummy from Luke Varney put off Redmond in the Brewers goal.
Fotheringham was replaced 10 minutes into the second half by Stephen Pearson to a warm welcome from the visiting Rams fans who packed the away end.
Gary Teale burst through the Burton central defence on 57 only for Redmond to block his shot.
When the Brewers took the ball down the other end of the park Matt Richards swung in a left wing corner which Aaron Carter met but could not steer home.
A foul on Russell Penn 63 minutes into the game set up a free kick opportunity which Austin wasted after flattering to deceive while organising it.
The arrival of Miles Addison as replacement for Patrick Kisonorbo was a great sight for Rams fans. Injury to the Derby youngster had been a huge loss in the closing stages of last term.
The way seemed to be opeing up for Jacques Maghoma but his shot deflected away from danger.
A 75th minute free kick by Gary Teale was driven into a wall of players as the second half, beset by a number of substitutions became a little scrappy.
A minute later Jimmy Phillips had a shot blocked by Steve Davies just outside the Derby area.
An inch perfect cross from the right by Davies was headed by Varney who could only watch as Redmond tipped the ball away for a corner which came to nothing.
The final one of Derbys' new signings Ben Pringle got the chance to make a cameo appearance, replacing Dickinson for the final 5 minutes.
With 3 minutes remaining Gary Teale had the chance to put the game to bed. Cutting in from the left he fired in a shot that Redmond did well again to push away.
The Scotsman cut in again a minute later, but this time fired over the bar.
Redmond was once again on his mettle reacting quickly to turn away another Teale cross as Varney waited in attendance.
The scoreline reflected a tight but entertaining game with plenty of positives for both managers to take from the match.
