Former Burton Albion goalkeeper Saul Deeney is training with Derby County with a view to earning a contract at the Championship club
The 26-year-old, who played under Rams boss Nigel Clough at the Pirelli Stadium, is a free agent after turning down the offer of a new deal at Albion.
Deeney joined Burton from Notts County towards the end of 2005 but returned to Meadow Lane the following summer.
After a brief spell at Hucknall Town, he rejoined Burton in October 2007 before leaving again at the end of last season
