Derby County are to run the rule over ex Leicester City defender Patrick Kisnorbo. The 28 year-old defender is currently traing with Crystal Palace and is thought to be taking part in a friendly game this evening (Thursday 9th July) against Borehamwood.
Palace will be leaving on a Pre-season tour following the game and Patrick will be coming to Derby for the pre-season game against Burton Albion on Saturday afternoon 3.00
The Rams are looking to bring on Kisnorbo for the second half of the game if he makes it unscathed in tonights game.
Kisnorbo, an Australian International is thought to be wanted by Crystal Palace but he could be tempted back to the East Midlands if Derby are interested in offering him a contract following the friendly game this weekend...

Derby boss Nigel Clough has confirmed that he is eager to sign former Leicester defender Patrick Kisnorbo.
The 28-year-old Australia international is available on a free transfer after he was deemed surplus to requirements at the Walkers Stadium, and he is said to be attracting interest from Crystal Palace.
However, Kisnorbo is currently on trial at Pride Park and, after playing a significant part in The Rams' pre-season friendly at Burton Albion on Saturday, Clough is set to open talks.
"We were very pleased with what we saw from Patrick for around an hour," he said.
"It is well documented that centre-half is a position we are looking to improve and he may well be an improvement on what we have got.
"He has got Championship experience and although he is not 6ft 3in or 6ft 4in, he competes well and he can play full-back as well so it covers us in that position.
"We will sit down and have a chat with him."
Fotheringham Clough will not follow up his interest in fellow trialist Mark Fotheringham, however.
The 25-year-old former Norwich midfielder also featured in the Burton match but, despite his best efforts, failed to earn a deal.
"I've had a chat with Mark and the problem is we've got three good players in the middle in Paul Green, Robbie Savage and Stephen Pearson, and all of them are on contract," he said.
"We probably cannot pursue anything with Mark, but for a week I've never seen a trialist come in and work as hard as he has."

Apparently he didn't want to play unless he'd agreed a deal, in case he picked up an injury . I agree Gres, I think we're gonna miss out on this one

Only a guess but i reckon as we signed Barker i think he'd only have been a back up maybe that was a factor?
