Derby County goalkeeper Lewis Price is training with League One club Brentford with a view to a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old Welsh international was third choice keeper for the Rams last season behind Stephen Bywater and Roy Carroll.
He went out on loan at MK Dons and Luton Town, and his last first-team appearance for the Rams was in the home draw against Manchester City in the Premier League in January 2008.
“Lewis has gone training with Brentford but there are one or two other clubs interested in him. I think he will make a decision at the end of the week,” said Rams boss Nigel Clough.
Striker Liam Dickinson continues to attract interest from a number of League One clubs.
Norwich City and Brighton & Hove Albion have made offers for the 23-year-old.
“There are a couple of League One clubs who have submitted offers for him and we are just trying, like others clubs are doing to us, to maximise the situation and get the fee up a little bit,” said Clough.
“But, yes, there is a lot of interest for Liam at that level.”
Dickinson spent three spells out on loan last season and has yet to make his senior debut for the Rams.
