One of the best goals to games ratios of any striker in the premier league, if he stays fit, he'll finish top scorer in the premier league next season. Typical Manure fans your lack of knowledge is pretty amusing. OG, i'd rather have an injury prone Owen than Adebayor.

Not much of a gamble as he's come on free, if he keeps fit and plays regularly i can see him grabbing you 30 goals, easy.

When on form for the Toon (and when the rest of the team were actually making an effort) he was very good. They'd already have gone down before this season without him IMO.

If Owen can stay fit, he'll give United what they were missing last season; a natural goal-scorer with a superb finish. How many of those 1-0 wins had a whole host of other chances go begging? Owen's the kind of player who, with decent service, will net a hatful over a season.
On a free transfer and apparently a pay-as-you-play deal, he's a bargain for Utd.

Now your having a laugh !!! We will be laughing at you OG when he lashes in the winner at the Emirates!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D We shall see gangeley, I just don't see him staying healthy for an entire season; however, he's a bargain as everyone else has put in with their two cents. So perhaps SAF will end up having the last laugh on this deal after-all !!! ;D
