TWO-NIL!!! USA playing some beautiful football - Brazil aren't showing much creativity, and are definitely being outplayed. What a tournament this could be for the US, after being written off at the group stages!

Half-time; it's two-nil to the US, and they're really making Brazil look amateurish in defence and uninventive in attack. The US defence is performing very well, and Brazil are starting to get frustrated, I think - Kaka lashed out just before half time, and a few others looked decidedly stroppy too. Good game so far - looking forward to more!

2-1, and Brazil denied what looks like a legitimate equaliser; their fans won't be happy about that.
Any complaints could be countered with the fact that the referee's missed Brazilian players striking at US players' faces four times; any of them could've been a red card offence (certainly yellow), and three of them were Kaka. He should have had a goal, but conversely, he shouldn't have been on the pitch. Swings and roundabouts!

3-2 Brazil That's probably game over. USA should've had a penalty a few minutes earlier, but that's football. Brazil outplayed the US in the second half, and they just couldn't hold on. Still, to beat Spain and perform so well against Brazil, the squad can hold their heads high.

Great final! Marc Vivien Foe's son speech before the match was incredibly beautiful.

Yeah, great final!
Touching speech from Foe's son I agree.
Decent tournament overall actually, good warm up for next year when the real deal kicks off. USA making good progress too.

So Close BUT no cigar...... props to Brazil they outplayed us when it mattered most. Proud of the strides the USA National Team is making & just to think that earlier in this tourney some of the fans, over here, where calling for Bradley's resignation. Not NOW, well done mt brays !!!
