Hope it's ok to get the begging bucket out... To cut a long story short I am doing the Great North Swim and Run for the Lincoln branch of the MS Society. These are top people and they need cash to do what they do. Check my page out and chuck me some money if you want, even if just to laugh at the image of me attempting a doggy paddle across Windermere! beatms.mssociety.org.uk/netcommunity/tjw1980I want to raise 250 quid but I hope to smash that! Wish me luck

36 hours to go.
It's been a funny week on the back of a few bad weeks. I fear letting people down but in the words of Cool Runnings, whatever happens
I gotta finish the race...

You can do it GT! If you have to crawl the final half-mile, you will cross the line! ;D ;D What's the playlist on your iPod looking like?

Also plenty of Metallica, Foo Fighters, New Order, Def Leppard, Pantera, Cheap Trick. Watch out for the inevitable post race compilation tie in

I tried to write a bit here but my flatmate has messed the net up so I've lost it! The gist of it was, thank you everyone. It means a lot to me. I've had a lot of crap this year (as you know I am lucky not to be dead) but I have searched every inch of my soul and I want to continue raising money for the people who held my childhood up. My Dad lost his life to MS nigh on 7 years ago but my Mum still pours her heart and soul into the Lincolnshire MS Society - I have lost count of the times she has been in tears as she thought they had to fold. Who cares how long it takes you to find a goal in life? I am 30 next year and I have found mine. Cheers

I went with some dear friends to a local park tonight and we lit a sky lantern in memory of those we have lost and as a beacon of hope. It was so beautiful, even the cider drinking chavs applauded it!
