Hull manager Phil Brown has confirmed he is interested in bringing Newcastle's out-of-contract striker Michael Owen to the KC Stadium.
The former England forward is available on a free transfer and is looking for a move back to the Premier League following the Magpies' relegation.
The Tigers want to strengthen their attacking options after only beating the drop by a single point last season.
Brown said in the Hull Daily Mail: "It's something that has been sounded out as a possibility, but, as yet, there has been no offer put to Michael.
"He has got a proven track record as a goalscorer and that's an area we are keen to strengthen, but it would have to be on the right terms."

Could be a great signing for you however he will need chances creating for him like any striker, still think he'll score goals in the prem (assuming he can stay injury free too)

Well *hopefully* with a fit Jimmy Bullard, and *hopefully* Fraizer up alongside him, we should be alright! Still not sure about this signing though!

Shows what has happened to his career for the likes of usl and Stoke to be two teams who have a decent chance of landing him!

Aye it is a gamble but a worthwhile one i believe so long as u dont give him a 3 year contract or summit daft like that, i dont see him fitting in with Stoke's style of play
