Before I went to India back last November and December this place was always a place where you could guarantee to waste time if you had nothing else to do. It's not the case any more, and now that we're not flying high the Reading board seems to be deserted.

Lots of the regular daytimers have either left or just can't make it on as often; the rest of us are trying to hold the fort, but it's hard to make conversation flow when there's no-one talking back!

Should this not be the job of the staff, or a test for the new MODS to get out there and promote this place. so on a board of X amount of regular members, 7 or 8 of us are given the task of promoting the boards?? would you like to email me a list of all your friends so i can let them know about the place as well?? For the record, i do promote this place (been banned off 2 official derby sites for doing so as well!) ;D but i would have thought it far more effective if members who use other boards tried to promote within their own clubs sites!  |

I will make excellent glue when as one of the last daytimers I am led blindfold to the knackers' yard! Maybe we've said everything to each other that we can, and now it's just a case of glances across the breakfast table, forgetting anniversaries and birthdays, and having stand-up rows with mothers-in-law?! What!? Are you saying the fire has gone out between us!?  |
