Holy shit... I doubt even Mayweather would've stopped that one No doubt the better man won on the night; that was an immense performance. Hatton's no chump (not that you'd believe this on BBC 606 this morning ), but that was a perfect shot. Pacman vs Mayweather for the undisputed P4P #1, anyone?

pacman after that performance showed the boxing world that he is the complete fighter his speed, accuracy and surprisingly his power were just unbelievable... i followed hatton since his early days and the night he beat kostya tszyu at the M.E.N was the greatest sporting event i have attented, but after seeing ricky taken apart and take shots like he did last night i think its time to hang up the gloves and enjoy the riches the sport has brought him...the shot that finished it was sheer perfection and hatton was out cold whilst still on his feet and it was worrying to see him lay on the canvas trying to focus..... as for pacman.... is he the best fighter in the world today?........yes could he beat mayweather?..........yes

Pretty gutted for Ricky I had an inkling something like this could happen but hoped he would come good. Right from the first bell it was clear nothing had changed in his game, no gloves up, no head movement and no idea. If anything he actually fought worse than in his fight against Mayweather. Floyd has to take alot of the blame. I thought Mayweather and his methods would have a positive effect, but clearly he doesn't give a toss about Hatton mentally, as a friend or in any other way. Floyd being late to training and Billy Graham announcing he is to sue Hatton just days before the fight had a massive impact. Ultimately, Ricky is the one who has to shoulder responsibility for his performance, despite all that there is no way he should have gone in fighting like that. For me the telling factor was Ricky's lack of focus/discipline. Something which is no problem for Manny. Glad he got up because despite everything, that's all that matters at the end of the day. Ricky seems OK, and he will get to see his family and son. I hope he see's sense now and retires. Manny is an animal. Manny against PBF (should he beat Marquez) would not just be a superfight. It would be a mega superfight of the decade.

surely thats too big a size difference.... Manny fought De La Hoya at 147, there's no reason he can't fight Mayweather at 147 too. He's carried his speed and power up through the divisions as well. What a clash of styles as well....Pacquio's aggression against Mayweather's counterpunching.

Pacquiao WOULD NOT BEAT MAYWEATHER AND HERE IS WHY.
1) MAYWEATHER'S DEFENCE IS SECOND TO NONE. PAC'S IS GOOD BUT NOT TO THE SAME STANDARD. 2) THEY ARE BOTH EQUALLY QUICK SO NO ADVANTAGE TO EITHER THERE. 3) IF MAYWEATHER MOVES DOWN TO PAC'S WEIGHT HE WILL BE TOO STRONG FOR PAC'S. 4) IF PAC'S MOVES UP TO MAYWEATHER'S WEIGHT HE WILL LOSE SPEED AND GET SMASHED!
ALL IN ALL MAYWEATHER IS THE MORE COMPLETE BOXER AND WILL WIN!
