Bet Lazio are pleased. They develop the player only for the cradle snatchers to come in and take him away. Hopefully if Platini can get anything right he can implement a law preventing u18s being pilfered from their parent clubs.

You'll find outside of the cosy top four group most fans actively dislike the Premiershite and what it has done to football. But of course most Manure fans are myopic wearing rose tinted spectacle wearers who cannot see beyond their own noses. I'm alright Jack. Tevez will never be the same player if he leaves Manure according to many. Oh really ? He does not need Manure to suceed. He is alreadya great player in his own right. But the arrogance of Manure fans.................

To be honest, when such a loophole exists you can't really blame clubs for taking advantage of it.
Personally - I don't think it should be happening, just my opinion. But whilst the loophole exists you really can't blame the clubs who take advantage.

One wonders, a couple of years ago when Watford gained promotion to your and i quote "Premiershite!!!" with Ben Foster in goal did you celebrate?? or!! were you like (as you say most fans) sat there thinking Oh FFS now we have to go an entire season playing in this shit league, i can't wait to get relegated again so we can back to some serious football!!!! YOU TWAT!!! stop being a jealous little boy because you support a complete bag of wank incapable of attracting a fucking sheep for dinner. You finaly make it to the top table and are incapable of staying there because what the fuck is attractive about Watford anyway?? and when you get relegated all you can do is bemoan the so called big 4 so don't worry i understand from where you come I too get pissed off when i see the rich git from up the road drive past in his Rolls Royce but thats life. You get on with making Watford better and leave the winning to us Yeh!!!

Getting to the Premershite has been very beneficial to several clubs who we now see struggling in Lesgue One because they could not keep on the same financial treadmill. Of course we'd like to be in the top division but what is the point now ? To get gubbed week in and week out ? That season ,the gulf in financial muscle meant we had practically no chance of building a decent squad to compete. Albeit with some more luck (for luck read quality) we may just have scraped staying up. Going to grounds such as SB,OT ,Anfield were virtually written off as away day trips. Here come the serfs to bask in the glory of the great and good. That season 81/82 we competed without the thought of we'll take a 3 or 4-0 drubbing here and not the idea . it'd be nice to stay a season in this division and see the sights. Compare this with 81/82 when we finished second when the gap in spending between clubs was more to do with actual attendances. That element of being able to effectively compete has been undermined with odd exceptions recently as with Stoke and Hull but nonetheless the majority who go up come down and often struggle. And should Hull go down for instance they too may end up on the slippery slope as well. Before its advent (with the express intention of redistributing the wealth an improving the national team, turned out to be a joke) clubs from down the pyramid had a chance to dream of acheiving sucess. The only thing that has happenend is that a select few clubs have got richer and richer and are able to hoover up the best talent and maintain the cycle and with the likes of Sky mean youngsters are ever more unlikely to support their local side. No one else has any chance unless a billionaire investor decides to come along. And who are you to call Watford anything. At least our fans have the pride to support their local team and actually come from the area rather than jump on some bandwagon . Didn't stop you pinching the likes of Eagles and Chadwick and sending the scouts to see our Academy thrash Newcastle 5-0 with a team of local boys. No doubt with the intention of pilfering any promising talent. The sooner Platini gets these rules in the better. If you were a fan outside of the so called elite you might be able to understand the grievances, disappointment and a little anger fans outside of the top division might feel at what has become a amost closed shop , but of course many of your fans should consult with an opthamologist.

Having Supported United for forty years - and bearing in mind our recent success has only spanned 18 years-ish (indeed we were relegated ourselves in the 70's) your reference to "Jumping on a bandwagon" is complete shite!!!! I too for many years traveled up and down the country watching my team being beaten and winning nothing Except the odd FA Cup but everytime and i mean everytime we expected to win every game, we never went to a match expecting to lose when you do that you lose. so i know and fully understand what being rubbish is all about and reference to a rich owner!!! err Elton John ;D OK, he did fuck all for you but looks like your club started the trend ;D But then i suppose when you have grown up only knowing the successful Manchester United i can see where your insular bitterness comes from!!!, you need someone to blame for your clubs lack of success and who better than Manchester United the team on top - if the top club in the country were Northampton Town it would be them and not united you would despise anyone but those responsible for where your club is!!! And finally as for Watford it's the bowls of the universe so live with it!! the only folk who visit are the travelling away fans and they can't wait to get away again afterwards
