A MARRIED footballer has been arrested over a claim he and a pal sexually attacked a teenager.
John Oster, 30, and Paul Wethers went to the girl’s home after a night out in London’s West End.
The ex-Everton and Sunderland star allegedly groped the 19-year-old. Wethers, in his 30s, is accused of having sex with her against her will.
Police are investigating whether the men planned to “roast” the student — a term used by footballers who have group sex with a woman.
The alleged attack is said to have happened at 2am at the girl’s parents’ home in East London. Wales international Oster, now at Crystal Palace, and Wethers were nicked hours later.
Officers took the girl to The Haven, a special sex crime clinic in London.
The millionaire midfielder married Marnie, 32, in 2004 and she lives in their Sunderland home.
On Friends Reunited, she writes of their plans to start a family. Oster paid a six-figure sum in 2007 after accidentally shooting Sunderland teammate Mark Maley in the eye with an air rifle, ending his career.
While on loan at Leeds in 2004, he was cautioned for a fracas outside a Durham nightclub. Scotland Yard confirmed both men have been bailed until May
