Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon has committed himself to the club by signing a new contract that will keep him at White Hart Lane until 2014.
The 21-year-old has been in great form of late, featuring in 41 of Spurs' 45 games this term and scoring five goals.
That form has led to speculation that Liverpool were lining up a move for the player in the summer, but he has ended that talk by signing a five-year deal.
"We're delighted to have him," said Spurs boss Harry Redknapp.
"He is still learning the game but he has real ability."
The Yorkshireman, who arrived at Spurs for £1m from Leeds in 2005, was this week named in Stuart Pearce's England Under-21 side for the friendlies against Norway and France later this month.

zippypopkins of zipkin manor It had been thought his fine form would see him force his way into Fabio Capello's full England squad, but Redknapp believes it is only a matter of time before Lennon is a full international again, having first earned a call-up to the 2006 World Cup.
"I am sure Fabio Capello will have been impressed by Aaron this season," said Redknapp at the start of the month.
"England need players who can beat people and, in Theo Walcott and Aaron, they have got two people down that right-hand side who can do that."
Real Madrid, currently managed by former Tottenham boss Juande Ramos, were also said to be interested in the right-winger's signature.

Its funny how the papers say signing a new deal ends speculation about him joining Liverpool. It just ensures Spurs get top value in any deal. But hopefully Robbie Keane can have a word about Rafa.
Anyway, it is good news as it suggests Lennon is happy for now. We need to keep nearly everyone and make just one or two buys. Then perhaps we can get a good start to next season, unlike the last three.
