going to this later today. I can't see us winning 3 in a row and it's a tuesday night away game so we defo won't win. Would take a point I spose... can't afford to go with 0 points in any of our remaining games.

A lot will depend on which Ipswich turns up tonight mate. If it's like the last couple of games, then frankly I honestly believe we'll be much too strong for you (although you could always take advantage of some stupid defensive slips that we suffer from these days); but if it's the "what are we supposed to do with this round thing" side that turns up, you'll go home with all 3 points no bother!
Our manager has already said this is our Cup Final!!!!!? What?
Anyway, lets hope it is at least a good game to watch.

I think somebody needs to drugs test this Southampton team. What's going on??!

I think it's the Ipswich players who should be drug tested after than bloody lethargic, apathetic performance!! And Magilton should be DOPE tested!!!!!!
Well done Soton . . . thought you looked to be a young team with great potential on that performance.

Was hardly a 'young' team .. we had been playing a team full of kids under Poortvliet, but under Wotte we have a decent balance of youth and experience and also a good mix of quality and grafters, which has seen us win three in a row.
Davis, Perry, Saeijs, Skacel, Euell, Saganowski = experienced players
James, Schneiderlin, McGoldrick, Paterson (sub) = young players
Surman adds quality, while Gillett adds hard work, much the same as Euell works hard and Saganowski adds a bit of quality.
Another good away win to add to the ones we won at Doncaster, Derby, Preston, Reading, Barnsley.

Did you play Euell up-front?
He always was a striker. He broke numerous goalscoring records in Wimbledon's Youth and Reserve team. It's probably wrecked his career that someone decided to keep playing him as a midfielder.

Yes we've played him upfront for only the last three games - all of which we've won...
he is energetic and holds up the ball really well.
We played him once upfront last season alongside Rasiak and it didn't work, so we decided to play him in midfield every game since that... and even centre back against bury in the fa cup lol.
Euell works well upfront as he is alongside Saganowski, who has much more movement than say Rasiak (when we paired him with Euell)

Also now we've pushed McGoldrick into the hole, he has looked alot better - as he no longer has the burden of playing as a lone striker, like he was under Poortvliet.
