Sheffield Wednesday have expanded their international links by tying-up with Finnish third-tier club IF Gnistan.
The Owls academy have already given trials to three youngsters from the Scandinavian outfit - Sami Simola, Jan Elf and Lukas Nyback.
Gnistan official Sipi Ulvas told the Owls' website: "Sheffield Wednesday are a big Championship club and we are delighted to be associated with them."
Wednesday already has similar link-ups in North America, Italy and Australia.

Sheffield Wednesday have expanded their international links by tying-up with Finnish third-tier club IF Gnistan. That's moving in high circles alright. I'm sure they've plenty of gems in the rough. Can't figure this tie up at all. Unless Sheffield Steelers want to pinch a few Finnish juniors for their hockey programme ?
