After the dross served up on Wednesday, all I can say is wow about this match. Cracking goals (what a pass by Quinn for Walters'!!) Brilliant celebrations, was great to be part of the crowd.
I'll write something better tomorrow, as I'm a bit tired.
I'll just sum up how I'm feeling about the result with a smiley: ;d

What a difference it makes when players are played in their best positions!
Get Hoddle in as manager next season, and who knows, promotion might just become a reality!!
C'MON YOU BLUES!!

well lets see how this season finishes first of all. Counago + Stead both scored their 10th goal vs QPR, which is a lot better than i was thinking !
next 5 games = key...

Realistically, this season won't finish much different to how the table reads at the moment. Basically, we are not quite good enough to force our way into the play-offs; and if we did we are certainly not ready for Premiership football at the moment. Me, I'd rather see us add a couple of real quality players to the squad; get a more experienced manager (as much as I respect Magilton, he's not the one to lead us to the promised land); and then launch a real assault on sustainable promotion next season, preferably going up via the top two places rather than the play-offs.

I'll let the Preston and Swansea results speak for themselves, shall I? Doesn't matter how well we may or may not have played, we bloody lost them. So realistically, no I don't expect us to be in the top six this season. And as to your "How often do u go?" question . . . every home game . . . as I have for the past 12 seasons now . . . and as many away games as family situations allow. And I have been a regular supporter (prior to season ticket) since 1968. Oh, and by the way, the correct spelling should have been "you" no "u"!! Now, since you question my right to opinions by asking how many games I attend . . . let's now have your record of attendance.

How often do u go..? well, although our squad has been ripped apart we do have higher attendances than you, a better/bigger ground, a reputation as a big team in the championship (rather undeserved it has to be admitted), we're from a significantly bigger city, and we've many link ups with foreign clubs to find and develop talent. so yes we're far more ready, in fact i'd go far as to say if we don't get promoted this season we'll start to decline as a club as the expectation is to make to the prem.

Fair play to both comments u get a lot more sense on here than the posters on BBC 606 thats for sure !
In my other recent post ( Re Southampton) I've said about one side coming out the blue and going on a run. Why not us !? somehow only 6 points off the play offs- ( i really don't get how either )
My point about other clubs which I included Sheff Utd perhaps slightly wrongly was to show that I don't think in general we're set up any worse than any of the clubs we're supposedly fighting with
Our attendances are bad sadly, you have a very valid point. But in the mid to late 90's, you were regularly attracting 12000 or 13000,,, so hardly great figures yourself to be honest ! Ours are down to the rather expensive price, fans staying away due to magilton, and the division !
Glad to see you've been a season ticket holder all this time, are you renewing ? I live in Bristol so only go to away games bar the derby with Norwich ( its a 420 mile round trip for me to Ipswich ! )
been to probably 9 games this season i think.
