Crisis-hit Weymouth, forced to field a youth team, suffered a crushing defeat.
Rushden were 3-0 up in 18 minutes as Michael Rankine slotted home and Lee Tomlin scored a quickfire double.
Chris Hope headed in the fourth before half-time before Rankine got his second from six yards and Robert Wolleaston's 25-yard strike made it 6-0.
Marcus Kelly scored twice with two long-range strikes before Kurt Robinson's effort finished off the rout two minutes from time.
Weymouth's players have not been paid in 2009 and have been allowed to leave the club if they receive offers of work.
The club has debts of around £300,000.
The club has issued a million shares, worth fifty pence each, in an effort to raise funds, but if that strategy is unsuccessful the Terras could face administration or liquidation.
Wow! Amazing, was at the Crawely match today and the bloke was telling us the scores in the other games at half time, when It was 4-0 I though it was a full time score, I come home, and see that Rushden netted 9 goals! Having 9 goals in a game happens hardly ever, mainly when the 9 goals were scored by one team. Weldone Rushden, they were expecting a win though. Due to the Weymouth side being youth

I don't wanna talk about it But I will anyway. ;D First half we was alright and had some great chances, their goalkeeper was amazing (For Them). But they scored just before the break Shortly after the break they knocked in a second, great goal. The second half was dull until the last minute they scored again, we decided to go about a minute before the game ended. Horrid result, haven't seen Crawley score a goal since New Years Day in that 2-2 draw against Woking.

They are still mid-table though aren't they? Push for promotion will have to wait until next season

I synpathise with Weymouths plight, a shit situation to be in. From a York point of view tho, we couldn't be playing them at a better time when they come to ours next Saturday. Shame we're away to Rushden midweek first really
