Ummmmm didn't you just spend a ridiculous amount of money to get him back.......... ;D -------------------------------------------------------------Defoe set for spell on sidelines Tottenham look set to be without key striker Jermain Defoe for "several weeks" after he suffered a foot injury in training on Friday. The 26-year-old has struck three goals in four starts since rejoining the club from Portsmouth earlier this month. A Spurs spokesman confirmed Defoe is receiving treatment for a foot injury, but said the club hoped the striker would be out for "no more than a month". Spurs are 13th in the table, but just three points clear of the bottom three. How big a blow is this for Spurs? If Defoe is out for a month, he would miss Premier League games against Bolton, Arsenal and Hull, and Uefa Cup games against Shakhtar Donetsk. -------------------------------------------------------------............ I think he's scared to play against us !!! ;D money well spent my brays !!!

I dunno - Nicholls did it for us and, injuries aside, he's done well out of it. To be fair, if it makes the difference between being sat on the bench or playing regularly, going back could be a good career move - you know, the whole 'impending threat of relegation' thing aside
