We're in the money, we're in the money... I thought the figuer had been sorted out Mort ? It does look very likely McFluff will be joining you now that Carney has gone to the Gold Coast Mariners your 'satellite' club in Oz. Expect huge anounts of vitriolic abuse from the Shoreham Boys in his direction. ;D

'The winter weather could deal a double blow to the Blades as they look to play their next game and reinforce the squad.
First, overnight snow put paid to United's plans to train at Shirecliffe and fly to Southampton for Tuesday night's fixture, with manager Kevin Blackwell forced to hurriedly change plans:
"It is Sod's Law that the worst weather of the winter coincides with one of our longest trips.
"We were due to fly down but Southampton Airport but that was closed so we switched to travelling by bus. Then Southampton was re-opened but Doncaster Airport closed!
"Now we are setting off by road and are perhaps faced with an eight or nine hour coach trip, possibly for nothing."
Southampton will make a decision on whether the match will go ahead at 9am on Tuesday with major concerns centring on the surrounding areas rather than the pitch.
Forced to set off earlier than scheduled, Blackwell's availability to push through transfer plans before today's 5pm deadline will inevitably be hampered:
"It makes it very difficult now because it is almost impossible to do anything by phone when you are on the coach dealing with agents, manager and chairman.
"We would have left a lot later and I would have been better able to try and do business, but I will do whatever I can. We are well aware that we have two big games coming up, along with the FA Cup-tie, and we need more bodies, especially with some players very close to suspension.'......... we're not signing any one cos it's snowing!! That really is a new one!!

IF you lose to us on Saturday will you get rid? hell will freeze over, jesus will return to earth and the rooks will leave the tower of london, but no blackwell probably won't get sacked, despite fans protesting against him...... he'll only be sacked when its too late

IF you lose to us on Saturday will you get rid? hell will freeze over, jesus will return to earth and the ravens will leave the tower of london, but no blackwell probably won't get sacked, despite fans protesting against him...... he'll only be sacked when its too late I hereby fail you Mort on your general knowledge test. Corvus frugilegus is the rook the much larger raven is C.corax. Some superstitious nonsense. Blackwell is apparently trying to sign O'Toole though. Its on the Blades fan forums as well. Whats it with this Watford-Blades link ? I know Blackwell likes the area but surely this is taking it too far ?

Our position is a false one, I think caused by the fact we're an ordinary but obstinate side and the division is quite even. However he'll be given every opportunity to screw up and no doubt he'll take one of them!!
