A video of Redknapp talking about Bellamy. www.skysports.com/video/clips/0,237...4701062,00.html So Tottenham made a bid for Bellamy and it was rejected, Redknapp then talks to the media about Bellamy, mentioning him by name and saying he wants to sign him. Which by Premier League rules is tapping up. Now surely it was squeaky clean Tottenham in the summer who complained about this, calling United hypocrites, whilst denying all claims of tapping up of Bostock and Ramos and tried to make themselves appear whiter than white in order to make an extra few million which they did. So Tottenham are hypocrites as well, would love it were West Ham to hand in a dossier of evidence of tapping up

If, as seems likely from all the reports, Spurs made a bid for Bellamy and West Ham turned it down, then that is the correct procedure. There is no rule swearing everyone to secrecy. Even a United fan can't consider making a bid equates to tapping-up.
