"I know what you're thinking. "Did they fire six shots or only five past Charlton?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is *points* James Beattie, the most powerful goalscorer in the championship, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?"

'Most powerful striker' - is that right? He couldn't establish himself in the Premier league and will always be a just above average striker. Lets face it my granny could knock five past Charlton at the moment. Reading (hoofball specialists) really highlighted your weaknesses last week. We have the best pairing in the championship. Statistics don't lie.

i think this game is going to come down to possession.
We seem to need to create plenty of chances to score (Charlton aside), so if we can maintain possession and pressure on Wolves' somewhat flimsy defence (16 goals conceded away from home), we should out score them...
...alternatively if Wolves maintain the lion-share of possession, they will no doubt put away their chances and we'll lose.
Mick McCarthy has said they "need to win the battle", which i interpret as not much different from what i've said.

whats his name cotterill, the former burnley manager, said we were unlucky on sky sports ........ Whats that old saying 'You make your own luck' "especially if at 1 down a howard inswinging corner goes in but the ref doesn't give it...."? ;D 3-1 rarely suggests being unlucky

We did score some great goals though, can't ever remember three goals in one game being of such high quality.
