Getting battered!! Trying to chase down 380 odd (which we'd never do anyway) we're 150/7. Bopara just ran out Pietersen, who was the only batsmen to have a decent go. Fucking rubbish!

I got up at 6, and turned on the telly to find India 200 odd for two. Then Yuvraj Singh battered us. I was rather glad I had to go to school. Bopara seems to have a habit of running people out...

The new Geoffrey Boycott ? Its only a ODI. Ten a penny these days. The real meat is the Test series to see if we can up on the Ozzies performance. Gangers has also retired so it will be interesting to see who comes in for him ie Rohit Sharma or Suresh Raina. Don't think Dravid has long to go either should he fail again. Plus points Samit Patel and some decent fielding plus KP looks in the groove again.

Shit again - why play Bopara and not bowl him? Why not play Swann as it was a spinning wicket?
It's a joke!

It was always going to be a tough ODI series. Lets face it, we haven't real excelled in the one day format since the World Cup of 1992 when we reached the final. India are probably the best ODI side at the moment, its gonna be a long tour.
*washes mouth out*.

The par score at the end of the 40th over is 182, so India are 16 runs ahead ... And the umpires have offered the light to the batsmen. Dhoni and Yusuf walk off the ground but Pietersen isn't pleased. He's talking to the umpires, the England players are hanging around ... Pietersen's still talking to the umpires ... and now he walks off looking rather unhappy

india have won by 16 runs in 40 overs becs of badlight, england team arent happy as the game started late, the umpires gave them the full dinner and wouldnt put the flood lights on.

SiBo's been ruled out for the rest of the series with a side strain, meanwhile, Tendulkar is back in India's ODI squad.
