We were awful. Ipswich beat Reading, Reading stuff us, we hold Ipswich to a 0-0 draw. All in a week of average football in the Championship.

We looked hopless Andy. The midfield should be shot for that performance. McAlister especially. Tommy had a better game but he's woefully slow. Missing Beevers at the back.
I worry about Laws tactics. He'd obviously decided to settle for a draw to consolidate what had happened midweek. Playing 1 up front at home is not a good option especially when the midfield are playing so badly.

Its exactly what i expected after Reading to be honest, i think hes worried we go on the kind of run we went on last yr. We have some winable games over the next few wks, Forest and Barnsley and Plymouth i`ll guess we will see where we are then

Just read the report on BBC and I'm worried for all Ipswich fans because Jim Magilton said "I thought we were very good and if we continue to play like that, we'll win more than we lose."
Seriously you were bobar and if that's a good performance for you in your manager's eyes you should be worried too.

When are you ever going to get shut of Laws? You know how it's going to go under him by now!
It's going to be season after season of struggles, just trying to get by. I couldn't believe he used a traffic hold-up as the excuse for the 6-0 loss, and now I'm reading he's "delighted with the boys" for scraping a goalless draw against the most hopeless away side in the league. How low are his standards, does he have ANY ambition?!?!
There's a lot of tat in that league and almost any bottom 8 club that manages to get hold of a decent manager can make a credible top 6 challenge if they make 3 good - not necessarily expensive - signings......look at Hull and Bristol City!

Because no-one even knows what the direction of the club is!!!!
We've got Walter Mitty telling us he's got backers from all over the world and it turns out that one of the banks he told the press he was dealing with in the Dominica isn't even an operational bank! I'm less worried about Laws than I am about our board right now.

I was there H, that's why! Even you must admit you were rubbish. Yup. 10 hour journey there overall for that. The Town bus passed us on the way back, and someone said; "Did you wave at Jim?" and another guy said; "He should be waving at us to thank us for watching that rubbish." Grant played well, but then, with Quinn's shooting, he didn't have much to do.

I'm less worried about Laws than I am about our board right now. I know it's difficult but all the more reason for some strong and purposeful leadership from the top surely? I've not really seen many comments aimed at inspiring and galvanising the team. Then again it could be worse, you could have Kevin "We played garbage tonight" Blackwell!! ;D ...Long balls, poor performances......I knew he'd stamp his personality on the Blunts eventually! ;D
