Not a huge surprise to be honest, the lad just does not have much of a defensive game. Anyone pay 15 quid for a match that lasted under a minute and having to endure watching Harrison for about an hour ;D

I had a funny feeling Khan would get knocked out. Prescott was saying he was gonna do so and to me it wasn't just your normal pre-fight talking.

khan has hardly looked a world beater in previous fights, he's got too many weakness .... and maybe he believes his own hype too much

Far from being the punch that ends a career, this KO could have saved Khan's career, IMO. The way he was going, he was in real danger of becoming the next Naseem Hamed, right the way to the spectacular downfall.
He needs to go away, take stock of this and accept that he's not all that yet, and won't be for a while. The best thing for his career would be to get him off PPV and on some undercards, 5-6 times a year, and let him really learn his craft - not against the punchbags he's been given so far, but against opponents who're genuinely dangerous. Warren won't let that happen, though, and I fear that it's him that will prove most poisonous to Khan's career.
If Khan can get his head on straight, he stands a good chance of being a great boxer and becoming a national icon. If he continues to believe the hype and act like he is, though, he'll only have himself to blame when it all ends in tears.
This fight was your warning, Khan. It's your choice as to whether you listen to it.

I agree with what Neko posted. The dirty scummer.
Khan goes down easily, and is shaken but he manages to shake it off quickly and is fine after. You get the impression that he could take the pain of the shots, he wants too... but his brain is rattling around in his head and can't handle it so fucks up his senses. He is going to have to be a defensive master, get some Winky Wright defence on the go if he wants to progress to a world title some day.
Hopefully he won't quit like Naz due to lack of hunger/broken heart. Instead, he will dust himself off and get back to trying like David Haye did.

Have to say I watched this and just disliked boxing that little bit more... People shouldn't hit the deck backwards like that...

... and you call yourself GB i'd have bet on the Colombian too Haha, well i'm kinda into my boxing mate! I knew this time he was up against someone who could actually fight, not another one of the many easy fights Warren set up. He (Amir) has shown that his body is filling out well, he's got his fat percentage well down from what it used to be, he also has the speed and the power. But i'm not convinced about his boxing skills. He's not shown he can be thoroughly dominant when boxing on the outside against world class opposition, and he has looked quite weak when a fighter has tried to rough him up, and that's standard english level fighters, not world class. Plus theres the issue with his chin aswell. Like Neko mentioned above, this loss will bring him back down to earth with a bang (literally), and it's upto him to show us all if he's got what it takes to be truly world class.

Whatever happens he needs to stay away from the big punchers, there was talk of Diaz/Katsidis who fought last night aswell being lined up for him soon..they'd destroy him! This did raise a chuckle off me too: ;D

Feel sorry for the lad, but he's still young and I still reckon he can go all the way if he just learns to defend himself. Have to say I watched this and just disliked boxing that little bit more... People shouldn't hit the deck backwards like that... Why not? Hatton fell flat on his face. Kahn's a lightweight you can't expect him to take very hard punches.

Khan has no jaw and now people know that......thats not something you can teach
Khan must change his defence or fail

Khan has no jaw and now people know that......thats not something you can teach Khan must change his defence or fail I agree ..... he said he made a mistake, which to be fair he did but that's not really the problem. He does tend to box in straight lines with little head movement which makes him very easy to hit. Also when he throws punches his chin is up in the air instead of on his chest, so if he gets hit it'll make it a much harder punch to take. But these are both technical things which with a bit of coaching can be sorted out. However what can't be coached into him is punch resistance, and at some point every fighter no matter how good they are will get caught with one and it's at that point you find out just how good they are. Khan is chinny and he'll know it now, he could end up exactly like Audley Harrison fighting like a boxer who doesn't want to get hit. It just goes to show there's a world of difference between what makes a good amateur and what makes a good pro!!
