So what's your thoughts tractor Boys/Girls?
The 3-0 Scoreline flattered you slightly last year i though, after that early pen miss by Freddy.

Going to be tight I reckon. We're only missing 2 players really, but we've coped fine without one of them for the second half of last season (Norris) but Wright is a bigger loss atm I would say as he's almost a guaranteed starter.
I'd say a draw, I wouldn't want us to lose, but anything could happen

Jeez.
We lost the ball so much today, Richard Wright cocked up second goal, and Alex Bruce *may've* been unlucky, as I thought he got the ball. I haven't seen the incident again, but you can judge for yourselves if/when you see it. I may change my mind, or protest his innocence.
The first half was awful. Both sides were sloppy, however Wolves just deserved their 1-0 lead. Mind you, free header. Alan Lee was awful, as was Haynes and Miller. Luckily, Jim saw how little impact Lee was making and shoved on Counago for the second half.
Counago made a huge difference. Suddenly we weren't hitting it to Lisbie, hoping it would go over the top of, what seemed to be, ginormous defenders. We were instead playing it to Counago's feet. We improved, and looked like we could score. Haynes missed a good chance, instead of blasting it into the corner of the net, blasted it into the corner of the North Stand.
Bruce's sending off was greeted with boos a plently from the home crowd. The salt was well and truly rubbed into the wound a couple of minutes later, as Wright, who had made a string of class saves to keep us in, should've done better, as it rebounded off his hands into the path of Edwards.
Jim was right. It was indeed embarrassing at times. But so were the officials. The Wolves defence elbowed, shoved and held onto Walters and Lisbie most of the match, Walters twice being pushed over. Steve Tanner was very poor, and the linesman Ford was absolutely shite.
Hennessey was very impressive.
Either way, Town need to improve, otherwise Portman Road isn't going to be as comfy as it was last season.
By the way, Wolves fans, I hope George Elokobi is OK, as when he passed underneath my section, his left leg was wrapped up.

I think the North Stand were shouting; "Who are ya?" at Slyvan Ebanks-Blake, or whoever it was stood nearby. The stadium clapped him off, including the North Stand, and when he passed underneath my section of the Brittania he looked in a lot of pain. Both the Brittania and Greene King/South Stand gave him applause. Any news on his injury?

When I saw his left leg was wrapped up, I thought he may've broken it. Is it his knee?

Praise from Jim Magilton during the post match interview, we must have played well. Knee ligament damage it looks like, could be several months

fair play wolves, i thought before the season ud be somewhere top 4 to be totally honest. I think in E Banks Blake / Iwelumo uve got the best partnership in the league. Also, u don't let many goals in.
Kightly is a good player - but for me ( tell me what u think of him !!! ) i rate ur Matty Jarvis player ( was so annoyed we didn't go in for him )
im from bristol n saw City 4 Gillingham 3 ( fa cup the other year ) n Jarvis was absolutely brilliant that day. Good luck for the rest of the season !
