Well this cat has funk from what I've seen but these are not the greatest samples in hip-hop history. He needs to explore the funk which is where he got his name. I feel like he should do a clear list in his videos, they're not easy to watch the way he does them. You probably know this but James Brown's (the most sampled artist of all time) song the Funky Drummer is the most sampled song ever, he included that, so he got one right. ;D I think hip-hop made not bad songs good but added little to great songs. Most of the songs which he's talking about are alright but not great and do well having been sampled by hip hop artists so if that's the kind of thing he's trying to do, fair play.

Haven't got time to go through that lot but 3 great sample uses that spring to mind are Kraftwerk's 'Trans-Europe Express' in Afrkia Bambaataa's 'Planet Rock' , NWA's use of the Jackson 5's 'ABC' in 'Express Yourself' and of course Chic's 'Good Times' by the Sugarhill Gang in 'Rappers Delight'.
