I have been asked to write reports for a website, on football in Argentina. The passion, the rivalries, the violence, the excitement, the supporters etc. that sort of thing. I'm sure there might be a few of you interested in reading my reports. Here is the link... www.footballingworld.com/author/sdobniewski/P.S - More reports to come.

Yeah not too bad. Very disappointed by the result against Norway albeit the side had only three 'regulars' the talent on that pitch should have still overcome footballing neanderthals like Norway. The u17 have lacked sparkle too in patches. Just drawn 1-1 with Spain . Santiago Fernandez nearly won it late on though but hit the woodwork. Still not bad considering the u17 players missing & Brazil lost. I've seen the documentary. Something has to be done about the violence & ultras but they are so integral in clubs remember the violence between Gimnasia or was it Godoy & Boca ? There has to be a political will from the government & the AFA. However the links these ultras have with local politicians, the hierarchy of the club is a real problem. Take care & look forward to more entries. El Grafico beckons.
