Neko isn't a Skype user, so unfortunately he can't be of much help at this point in time. However, he shall muse over it and consult friends who do use Skype, and get back to you if he makes any progress Thank you for choosing Nekotech; your custom is most appreciated - we hope you have a pleasant afternoon! ;D

TC, the main benefits of having a mobile phone with Skype is that you can make free calls to other Skype users. The issue as I see it with this is going to be; what does your service provider charge you for connecting to the internet? Skype calls are made using IP technology, which basically means your voice call is being shipped around wiring centres as data, before being delivered to the destination IP address (the other users handset of PC). If you get an amount of data transfer/internet connectivity built into your mobile contract and have mates who use Skype, then it's a good idea. If you're charged every time you access the internet then you'll be getting a free call via Skype, but incurring charges for data transfer which could start getting expensive ...... especially if you get free call minutes on your phone deal anyway!!
....... well that's my understanding of it anyway!!
