Fucking hell Neko................that does sound harsh! Especially as the new owners are being punished for the actions of the old.
What I don't get is that the amount of points deducted seems to vary everytime! Do the authorities just make it up as they go along!

Do the authorities just make it up as they go along! Pretty much. I mean, they said during the West Ham affair that they were going to be leniant because, "It wouldn't be fair on the fans or the new owners" to be harsh. What do we see here? Leeds did get shafted by the League, but they at least had the "Well, it's the same owners, so it's them we're punishing" straw to feebly clutch at - given that no-one at the club now was even distantly involved in the previous fuck-ups, who exactly are they punishing? In the meantime, Jayten received paltry fines and have claimed bankruptcy, so they won't even have to pay them. Tomlins isn't allowed to take control of a football club for five years? Oh, I'm sure he's just fucking devastated. And they don't have to pay even a penny toward getting us out of the financial shit they dropped us in either. So much for the FA/FL's "Fit and Proper Persons" test. I'd like to see the fans run an FPP check on them and see how many of them are qualified for the job (And as was pointed out on Talksport last night, we've actually had 40pts altogether, if we include the 10 from last season. Bloody ridiculous!)

Have the new stadium plans been shelved for the time being?

Have the new stadium plans been shelved for the time being? Unfortunately, we can't afford to shelve them. The council have given us an extra five years on our lease at the Kenny, so we're now secure until 2018, but given that we were aiming to be out of there about 20 years ago, it's hardly ideal for us or them. We're just lucky we had that extension, really; one of the requirements for the golden share is that you have a stadium tenure in place fopr the next ten years, and we previously were only secure 'til 2013.
