I started one of these last year but to no avail. Is it just me watching? Just watched the stage to Nantes. Eric Zabel is a hope for all of us over 35! Mark Cavendish is the miserable sod British cycling needs...

Is there a spread bet on how many fail the doping ? Much prefer track cycling which is strictly tested, Expect a huge medal tally at Beijing. Pendelton, Hoy & co.

I do hope not. At least this is a sport moving in the right direction, unlike athletics and, dare I say it, football which I suspect has its head in the sand where doping is concerned.
However, road racing has quite rightly taken a pasting and I hope that the brave and wholesale ejection of anybody caught last year, whoever they were, plus the banning of anybody even faintly associated this, may make a difference. Not happy with the Schumacher situation though as it seems inconsistent - a touch of the Rio's from the tour organisers...
I like watching the track cycling, but nothing compares with the spectacle and variety of a stage race...

Athletics needs to follow cycling. I'm sad to say it but I wont be watching the track & field events at the Olympics. When you have the likes of Chambers trying to get back in.Thanou awarded the medals of Jones. Plus Ohorougou & Whitlock retained in the GB squad it leaves a bittertaste in the mouth. Zero tolerance for cheats. Cant wait for the track Madison. ;D

Terrible though. I watched Riccardo Ricco disappear off the front and stay away on the long descent today and thought "Vinokourov used to do this", then, immediately, I began to wonder...

I see another cheat's been caught And if he was back in 19th, are the front-runners super-human, or is there something beyond that? Unfortunately, I can't help thinking that every time I look at cycling now, and I sincerely doubt I'm the only one. How can they shake that stigma off?

I quite like the Tour. It's relaxing to watch, like cricket and you get to see nice scenery. Can't believe Cavendish won 4 stages and was still 149th!

There's another British rider who, last I checked, was 44th. I'd like to know why he isn't getting more coverage! Sure, Cavendish is clearly a great sprinter, but he's evidently piss-poor in other areas (relatively speaking; I realise us mere mortals would be nothing on him). What about Mr Consistency up the front there, who's possibly gonna get it the top 20 if many more drug cheats are exposed!
