Been watching it too after it got rave reviews in last Saturday's Guardian.
Was last night's episode any good then? I'm still to watch it, thought it picked up on Wednesday after a pretty ropey second instalment.

Last night's episode just went off the silly scale for me mate but I won't spoil it. Too many plots and subplots, it also seems to be undecided if it wants to be a gritty prison drama or a courtroom potboiler - I'm not convinced it marries the two ideals well at all!
Pete Postlethwaite is as watchable as ever though

Bit of shame he seems to be cast in very similar roles all the time; world weary, empathatic and wise. A bit like the way that John Hurt always seems to be cast as a dictatorial type in recent films. I'd like to see him play a right nasty git!

Not at all, no. Still at least Pete Postlethwaite got to do his hangdog look one more time before they 'put him down'
