news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/7489144.stmKewell agrees Galatasaray switch Harry Kewell had an injury-troubled time at Liverpool Australian winger Harry Kewell has agreed a three-year deal with Turkish side Galatasaray after he was not offered a new contract by Liverpool.
The Turkish club's website reports that a deal has been completed for the 29-year-old.
Kewell had five injury-troubled seasons at Liverpool after moving from Leeds.
The move to Galatasaray has ended any possibility of Kewell being one of Australia's three over-age players at the Beijing Olympics.
Italian club Roma and Portsmouth had also been linked with Kewell who, during his time with Leeds, was sent off against Galatasaray in the 2000 Uefa Cup semi-final.
Kewell scored a goal and helped set up another in Australia's 3-1 win over Qatar in June that guaranteed them a place in the second round of Asian qualifying for the 2010 World Cup. I just want to express my disgust in this despicable decision. It's worse than Smith going to Man U, Kewell actually played in that horrible match 8 years ago, he could have picked almost any club to go to but he chose them, what a fucking twat. I'm appalled. He used to be my favourite player, now I hate him, he can rot.

I bet the Galatasaray fans are falling over themselves.
Wonder how many games he'll manage for them after being deposited into the front row in a derby match between them & Besiktas. ;D

Doubt Roma would need him at all or Spartak unless they are letting Bystrov or Bilyatedinov go.
