Found this on another forum, and thought it was rather interesting: NEARLY one in seven Premier League fans are refusing to renew their season tickets in a backlash against prices. The following list shows the percentage of fans that had season ticketes last season (2007-2008) that wont be renewing for next season (2008-2009) West Ham 25% Reading 22% Portmouth 21% Man City 20% Man Utd 19% Fulham 18% Bolton 17% Birmingham 16% Everton 14% Spurs 12% Sunderland 12% Middlesbro 11% Newcastle 10% Chelsea 10% Arsenal 8% Aston Villa 8% Wigan 8% Liverpool 5% Blackburn 5% DERBY COUNTY 3%So for those of you who cant be arsed to work it out, here are the percentages of fans that ARE renewing. West Ham 75% Reading 78% Portmouth 79% Man City 80% Man Utd 81% Fulham 82% Bolton 83% Birmingham 84% Everton 86% Spurs 88% Sunderland 88% Middlesbro 89% Newcastle 90% Chelsea 90% Arsenal 92% Aston Villa 92% Wigan 92% Liverpool 95% Blackburn 95% DERBY COUNTY 97%I know its biased as im a Derby fan, but the loyalty shown by our fans is amazing, and these statistics just show that were not just great fans through what has been the worst season I can remember. Though at the same time, credit to those who are refusing to renew!

Erm yes mate - you can be proud of your fans' loyalty if you like, but that does indeed miss the point of the protest!
There's not much point protesting about rising ticket prices in the Prem when you're not IN the Prem anymore!

Besides we'll get there someday, had the distraction of "quite a good cup run" last year! Search me, there might be another reason nobody is renewing their ticket at Reading! ;D

Even though I'm a Derby fan, I must say I really think that most people have renewed their season tickets as they expect to go straight back up (alot of fans are really suffering from blind faith). Last season the season tickets sold out quickly as they froze the prices, and they have froze the prices this time round, so we would be paying the same amount as we did the last time we were in the Championship

To be fair, its not about loyalty, its just money and with the latest tax rises etc, people just cannot afford to go to football week in week out. I used to travel everywhere home and away and now I take in the odd game as I can't afford it.
Look at Man Utd, 81% are renewing their season tickets, surely they aren't fed up with their team after winning the Premiership and Champions League?!

Might have cost you promotion though? we did disgrace ourselves though, no arguments there - but prior to that we've had just a little success in the top flight mate - and i'm old enough to remember it as well!

I bet our season ticket renewals are a much much lower percentage than any of them.
