They have a week to find a buyer, or they will cease to exist (and it is their final chance) - as it stands, they cannot guarantee being able to play ANY fixtures next season. tis a pity, but i cannot believe they didnt have a contingency plan to fall back on if their owner became ill.

I should feel sorry for the club, but I don't to be honest I feel for the fans though Agreed. At the end of the day, they lumped all their ambitions on the back of one benefactor, and he was never gonna be able to provide for them forever - the club should've lived within its means. As a Luton fan, though, I know all too well that the fans don't get any say in whether that happens, and I honestly feel for them If we're honest, they've done exactly what Chelsea have insofar as having one man bankroll them to success, and I'm sure many people would have a chuckle if Abramovitch pulled out suddenly!

Every sympathy for the fans, but even more so all of the staff who've suddenly found themselves out of work.

It's not that sad really, I feel sorry for the 200 odd fans who followed them in the English League before the owner decided to move them to Scotland to make a quick buck.

applications for a replacement are already being prepared; The Spartans, Annan Athletic, Preston Athletic and Cove Rangers are the 4 teams wanting to replace Gretna with The Spartans looking to be favourites after theyre good recent cup record and a ground already meeting satisfactory requirements for the SFL
